Sundae on Mondae

Today was a good monday.
I had a big math test that i think i did quite well on. I also had a 2 hour nap! That was fantastic because i rarely allow myself to waste that much time on a monday.  I skipped dinner and went to Mel's Hard Luck Diner with the girls. I live in Branson, MO which means i am surrounded by old people and country music. This little diner was... corny. Like so, so corny. The servers actually sing to you while you eat. It was soooooo branson! But we had a $9 banana split that was so big even 6 girls couldn't finish the whole thing. I have yet another test to study for so i need to get off here. I'm really starting to enjoy blogging more as a way to wind down the day and reflect as opposed to pleasing others. I think that is a good place to be.

Fall Photos: Day 4

This is what autumn look like where i live.
beautiful.
the hills are all lined with fallen leaves.
the trees start to look like something out of a storybook.
and the crisp air just brings a new freshness to every day.

I've Never Loved Fall So Much In My Whole Entire Life

i am in love with fall this year. im not really sure why. ive always thought fall was so pretty but never have i been so excited for it. i was browsing for fall pictures the other day and came across some beautiful ones. i think im just going to post pretty photos all week long in the spirit of welcoming fall.

also. whenever i searched for "fall" pictures nothing came up. then i typed in "autumn" and it was like the flood of fall pictures came rolling in. am i the only one that calls this season fall? is it just because of where i am from?

Saturday

I have many a things to do today. but what will i decide on? Should i catch up on homework and study for the three tests that i have on monday? or maybe create some pretty little pieces to start my etsy shop off with? orrr maybe even go workout and start this new healthier lifestyle i put off every day...decisions decisions. what i would really love to do is go to Vintage Paris, a cute little coffee and wine shop in town, drive around and look at pretty houses for a while, go to a few thrift stores and find some amazing treasures, then go lay out by the lake for the remainder of the day. that sounds perfect.

studying comes first. booooooooo.

Busy Little Bee

Well it has been forever since I last posted on here. Classes have started, work has begun, and my social life has flourished. It is crazy going from lazy summer days spent at home to jam packed days and nights spent trying to juggle this thing we call life. I do love it though. I can already tell that this semester will be awesome. I feel like i have already grown a lot with my walk with the Lord, and just an overall maturity in understanding what is most important. It is so easy to skip class, not care about work, and completely avoid homework. I see the big picture though. I have a passion to do big things in my life, and i know that i cannot get there without being here first. It gets hard sometimes to remember that but as long as i can go back to that it helps me through.

I had the most lovely weekend. I got to enjoy time with many friends, family, and myself. Friday night the boy and i went to artwalk and had a blasty blast. The night was filled with cupcakes, hookah, friends, laughing, good music, and the simplicity of each others company. Saturday morning i ran my first 5K! woohoo! i wasnt so great at it. but i did it. It really challenged me to start running on a regular basis so that i can actually be good at it, hah. Somehow it is already the next weekend. I am not so sure how that happens. how five days can just run right past me without me stopping in them. but it has, once again.

I was sick most of the week and today i stayed in and slept. It felt good. tonight i have plans to go to my parents house with the boy and two of our dear friends to watch an international fireworks display that is going on near the end of my road. this is a big thing for such a small town. and i am more than excited to share it with friends and family.
